Seabourn was headline sponsor for the Lord’s Taverners Celebrity Cricket & Lunch 2023, which took place on 23 June in the grounds of Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire.
Nearly 700 guests enjoyed watching a friendly cricket match, tucked into a three-course meal, then committed to raising money via raffles and a silent auction, which included a Seabourn cruise. The event is expected to have raised nearly £100,000 for the charity.
Seabourn’s V.P. UK & Europe Lynn Narraway and Snr. Marketing Manager Carly Perkins were there as sponsors to mingle and talk with guests.
Said Lynn: ‘The Lord’s Taverners is a fantastic charity which works across the UK and beyond to empower young people with disabilities and from disadvantaged backgrounds to reach their potential and enjoy all types of sporting programmes, including cricket. We are very proud to have a long-standing partnership with the charity and that through dedicated fund-raising events, Seabourn has already been able to provide The Taverners with two green mini-buses in 2016 and 2018, one at a school in East Sussex, the other in Scotland’.
