Introducing m’power, your new employee-led network for Disabilities and Health Conditions (any disability, impairment or health condition included.)

As our strapline ‘making it possible for all’ indicates, we focus on peoples’ ability and reaching their potential through seeking to dismantle barriers faced by people with disabilities, impairments and conditions whilst working with Carnival UK. We: 

  • Raise awareness – by providing resources for all colleagues, managers and leaders to increase understanding of how best to work with colleagues / team members or line managers with a disability or health condition. One example of this is the Hidden Disability Sunflower Lanyard Scheme.
  • Signpost support – by being available to colleagues to help them navigate to the tools and resources available to help them with their journey and by keeping in touch (where wanted) and continuing to make you feel included.
  • Remove barriers – by pro-actively working with the business to improve processes so that we optimise inclusion and positive consideration throughout the employment life-cycle right from attracting people to join our business through until they leave.


We’re looking for colleagues to join m’power

We’re currently looking to add to our network. Through sharing your story or situation our understanding of the range of challenges faced by colleagues you’ll help m’power grow.

We’d love to hear from people who would like to join the network to share their insight and  experiences and / or help us to fulfil our purpose through contributing time to work on specific activities or be a point of contact. Appropriate training will be given.
