Cunard are delighted to share that they are launching a new Cunard 4 Queens gin range, which will include an inaugural Queen Anne edition for the very first time. Their popular 3 Queens gin will be updated in line with their fleet to become the new Cunard 4 Queens gin. With each edition also comes a new design, taking inspiration from the art-deco style linked to their heritage, while also defining a new design direction for their future.

Complementing our Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria, and Queen Elizabeth gins, the new Queen Anne gin will showcase the natural beauty and botanical diversity of the British Isles, unified during the reign of Queen Anne. The unique flavour profile combines a blend of herbaceous milk thistle, heather, and zesty sea buckthorn, balanced with the sweetness of Queen Anne rose petals and blackcurrant leaf.

As with our three existing gins, the Queen Anne gin Edition pays tribute to one of the regions in which our ships often sail. The Queen Mary 2 Edition offers a taste of the Americas infused with crisp apple, warm cinnamon, and juicy cherry notes. The Queen Victoria Edition provides a taste of the Mediterranean with blood orange, fragrant lemon myrtle and olive leaf. Finally, the Queen Elizabeth Edition comes steeped with Oriental influences, such as Lotus Root, Star Anise, and Kaffir Lime Leaf.

All Cunard 4 Queens gin editions use a recipe based on an original Bombay family recipe, dating from 17 July 1947, and are exclusively distilled for Cunard in partnership with Summerhall Distillery, Edinburgh.

On board our Queens, each Cunard 4 Queens gin is paired with a complementing tonic and unique garnish that amplifies the flavours of their botanicals. The ‘perfect serve’ for the Queen Anne Edition sees the gin paired with Fever-Tree Tonic, with dehydrated petals delicately garnishing the glass.

Guests travelling on board Queen Anne will be among the first to try the Queen Anne Edition gin, which will be served in all bars and restaurants on board. The British-themed gin will also be available to buy direct from the Summerhall Distillery website from May 2024.
