Queen Elizabeth is currently in the middle of her highly acclaimed season sailing Alaska, giving guests one-of-a-kind opportunities to explore The Great Land from the ship and ashore.
Cunard has a range of activities and events to bring this otherworldly land to life. With National Park Rangers hosting all visits to Glacier Bay and Naturalists on every sailing to provide deck commentary, talks, and to man the Alaska Outpost, guests have plenty of chances to ask questions and learn more about the places they’re exploring.

For this year’s Alaskan voyages, Cunard again partnered with the Royal Canadian Society to provide their thought-provoking speakers on every sailing, alongside the exciting Cunard Insights programme, curated by the in-house Guest Experience Entertainment Booking team.
The team has such a personal connection to the programmes they put together, with Entertainment Booking Manager, Rachel Vasile being only one of those who started their career on ships:
Having worked on board and travelled to Alaska for the 2004 and 2005 seasons, it has been incredible to re-live my best moments and create a programme that brings the world alive for our guests on their personal Alaskan journeys.
Queen Elizabeth has already hosted a range of Cunard Insights speakers this season, with many more to come. So far, Cunard have had Ice Road Trucker Alex Debogorksi, impressive long-distance skier and explorer Preet Chandi MBE, mountaineer Kenton Cool, and award-winning broadcaster and adventurer Ben Fogle on board. With such an eclectic mix of personalities and backgrounds, guests have had a rare opportunity to learn more about what goes into a real Alaskan expedition within the breathtaking scenery they can admire from the comfort of the ship.
