Our amazing colleagues on board our ships work so hard to create unforgettable holiday happiness for our guests, so it’s fantastic to see them enjoying adventures of their own!

Our SWC (Seafarer’s Welfare Committee) regularly organise events and crew tours for colleagues to take some time out and experience the fantastic destinations we visit. With the help of a new Welfare Officer role to drive these events too, July was certainly a month to remember for our colleagues on board!

Here’s some of Queen Victoria’s crew enjoying their latest events and adventures…

Paddleboarding in Olden, Norway

On 20 July, our crew had the chance to explore the spectacular landscapes and rivers filled with unique-coloured mountain and glacier water, on a paddleboard!

A visit to the Blue Lagoon in Reykjavik

On 11 July, our crew enjoyed the turquoise waters of the enchanting Blue Lagoon.

Tournaments and games nights!

From Darts and Basketball tournaments, to quizzes, board games and Bingo – crew from across departments had the chance to get involved in some great activities throughout July. The team also held a Band Night in the Crew Bar, with performances from talented crew members from the Restaurant and Housekeeping departments!

Engine Room Tour

Some of our crew also had the chance to join a crew Engine Tour, hosted by the Technical Team.
