On Wednesday 1 March, Queen Victoria arrived in Sydney Harbour to celebrate WorldPride!

Cunard welcomed members of Australia’s LGBTQIA+ business community aboard for an exclusive afternoon tea celebration, hosted in partnership with GREAT Love and the British Consulate-General Sydney.

#GREATLoveStories

GREAT Love is the UK’s international campaign celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community, which promotes the UK’s values of inclusivity, diversity and freedom. It is being relaunched at Sydney WorldPride 2023 and showcases the warm welcome of a modern UK through LGBTQIA+ storytellers.

Through the GREAT Love campaign, LGBTQIA+ storytellers are empowered to share intimate stories describing pivotal moments of self-acceptance and belonging.

It provides all LGBTQIA+ communities with a platform to share their stories and showcase the brilliance of this diverse community. You can follow the campaign on Instagram using the hashtag #GREATLoveStories.

The afternoon tea celebrated the business community in Australia that have worked hard to be LGBTQIA+ inclusive. The Rt. Hon. The Lord Herbert of South Downs CBE, UK Special Envoy for LGBTQIA+ rights, and British High Commissioner to Australia, Vicki Treadell CMG, MVO, were special guests of honour at the event.

Upon arrival into Sydney, Queen Victoria was treated to a spectacular drone show to celebrate!
