Carnival UK’s Internal Communications team were Highly Commended winners at the 2018 UK and European Employee Engagement Awards!

The winners were announced last night at the gala ceremony at Twickenham Stadium, with Carnival UK scooping the Highly Commended award in the Internal Communications category.

The team’s entry highlighted the successful proposition, roll out and engagement of our purpose and values, all of which are now firmly embedded as part of our culture.

The Internal Communications Award was one of the most contested categories with 11 entrants hoping to be recognised for their hard work. This is the first awards ceremony that the Internal Communications team have entered, and to have taken the Highly Commended spot is a testament to the team’s hard work.

Hannah Leach, Director Employee Experience and Culture said, “We’re thrilled to have been recognised at the Employee Engagement Awards. We were joined at the ceremony by the likes of Heathrow, Nissan, Dreams, Clarins, Unicef, Bank of England, William Hill and there were some very high profile employers in our category. While the award was for internal communications, it really recognises the effort and investment we’re all making to develop our culture and make Carnival UK an even better place to work – another step towards becoming travel’s employer of choice.”

The Employee Engagement Awards honours those organisations that put workforce engagement at the heart of their business strategy. This year’s winners demonstrate how far-reaching Employee Engagement is today.
