At Carnival UK we’re passionate about keeping our colleagues safe and well. By taking care of our health and wellbeing we’re able to make a big difference to the way we feel, be aware of how likely we may be to fall ill, and how quickly we recover afterwards.

To help support your wellbeing, we provide annual Health Assessments for all colleagues and Mammograms for eligible colleagues.

Our provider for these services has changed from Nuffield Health to Bupa. The eligibility requirements remain unchanged and the types of checks that Bupa undertake are similar to those that were provided by Nuffield Health. However, by making this change we expect that it will be easier for colleagues to book and attend an appointment. Bupa have centres in Southampton, Fareham, Ringwood and over 30 other locations across the country.  

We encourage you to attend these appointments as they can detect health problems in their early stages and allow you to get the support you may need to remain fit and well. Full details of this benefit can be found on The Bridge > Shore HR > Shore Employee Guides > Health Screening

Carnival UK do not receive individual results or data in relation to your Health Assessment. Bupa can provide us with a general overview of employee health to help us manage our wellbeing programs, however no individual can be identified. In addition, no data held by Nuffield Health will be passed to Bupa.

What do I need to do?

Nothing! If you’re due an assessment or have not had one for some time, please bear with us. Bupa have your details and will gradually work through the list in a priority/eligibility order and will contact you over the next 18 months.

  1. Unfortunately no more appointments in Millbrook and the new assessment centre is in Chandlers Ford again, so still hard to reach for those who rely on public transport.
