This World Ocean’s Day (8 June) P&O Cruises invite you to share fresh ideas to help raise awareness of the serious issue of food waste. Share your suggestions as a song, poem, drawing, poster – the most creative entry will win!

Think about how you can encourage someone to waste less food? What does food waste mean to you, your family, our oceans and our planet? When producing your entry please remember
- Stay safe – don’t put yourself or anyone else at risk
- Be thoughtful to our guests and do not impact their experience on board
- Use your phone to video or take a photo – no fancy cameras needed
Prizes up for grabs include an Apple Watch, AirPods and an iPad.To enter, email your submission to Kirsty.Arnold@pocruises.com and include the subject line ‘food waste competition’. All entries must be submitted by 10 July 2024.
Terms & conditions: a) The Food Waste Hero Competition is open to all P&O Cruises Fleet colleagues at CUK, including P&O Cruises colleagues on leave (b) Entries must be submitted by an individual. Team submissions will be allowed however the prize will have to be shared. (c) If sharing a video, please ensure you have permission from everyone who features in your entry before submitting . Please don’t feature guests. (d) Please note: Maximum entry file size for upload to the competition form is 20MB (e) If submitting a poster or graphic, a photo of this is acceptable to enter, however the original will be required if you are a winner (f) Winners will be selected by our Shoreside Hotel Services & Environment Colleagues within Guest Experience and you will be contacted directly if you are a winner (g) This competition closes on 10 July 2024 (h) The prize cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative.
