The countdown for Southampton Pride is on! Cunard and P&O Cruises are headline sponsors for the event, being held in Southampton Guildhall Square on Saturday 26 August. To celebrate our ongoing partnership, next week there are lots of CUK Pride events and activities for colleagues to enjoy; here’s everything you can look forward to!
Tuesday 22 August – non-binary spotlight
- 08:30 – 10:00, Atrium: Join Spectrum for a hot drink and learn more about CUK Pride, our Southampton Pride partnership and ways to support LGBTQI+ people.
- 08:30 – 14:00, Atrium: collect your pronouns badge from the Spectrum stand.
- 12:00-14:00, Atrium: We encourage everyone to Be curious, Be you, Belong by learning more about other people’s experiences. Grab your lunch and watch some of the short videos being screened in the Atrium to learn more about non-binary people.
Wednesday 23 August – drag queen spotlight
12:00 – 13:00, Atrium: Join dancing queen and star of Britain’s Got Talent, Ruby Sinclair, for a fun dance class!- 16:00 – 18:00, Roof terrace: Join Spectrum for drinks to celebrate the launch of Spectrum Social, a new way to meet and spend time with colleagues.

Dress in the rainbow!
Throughout the week, dress in the colours from the pride flag. The pride flag colors each hold a different meaning, and each color represents an important value of the LGBTQIA+ community. Find out more here.
