Sunday 14 May was a momentous occasion for P&O Cruises as the brand’s prestigious partnership with BAFTA got off to a fantastic start with the BAFTA Television Awards.

As the headline sponsor of the event, P&O Cruises branding was shining brightly at Royal Festival Hall in London and on TV, with a star-studded line up of guests walking the red carpet, including over 50 lucky Carnival UK colleagues who won tickets in our prize draw.

Karis Yates, Entertainment Booking Consultant P&O Cruises, who attended as one of our competition winners commented: 

“What an incredible experience! Getting to walk the red carpet and see the stars collecting their awards is a moment I’ll never forget. Thank you P&O Cruises and Carnival UK for such an amazing opportunity!” 

The awards showcased and celebrated the best of the best, both in front and behind the camera – a spectacular occasion to be part of. Of course, a special mention must go to Paddington Meets The Queen, which was chosen by the viewing public as the winner of the P&O Cruises Memorable Moment Award. This heart-warming sketch was made for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations last year.

This is just the first in a multi-year partnership with P&O Cruises as the headline sponsor of the BAFTA Television Awards and we can’t wait to see what 2024 brings.
