We did catch up with a couple of our latest recruits to find out a little more about them…
I’ve spent over 25 years working in the IT industry, in a variety of roles such as Service Manager, Internal Audit, IT Security and Compliance.
I originally joined Carnival UK in March 2019 – until COVID-19 forced an unplanned career change only 15 months later. Following my departure from CUK in June 2020, I was employed as a Senior IT Auditor for a major global accountancy and consultancy firm. When I was given an opportunity to return to CUK, I jumped at the chance, and I’m delighted to be part of this company’s return to greatness. – Darren Clarke
I’m joining the Carnival UK team in Revenue management for Cunard as a Revenue Analyst. I graduated with a BSc in Accounting and Economics and my previous work background has first been as a research analyst for NATS in the consultancy arm for their analytics department. After a hiatus while I travelled Australasia I returned to the UK for a graduate scheme at Frasers Group (formerly known as Sport Direct International) as a commercial manager, I’m just coming to the end of the first week and everything has been perfect thus far. Everyone I’ve met is supportive and willing to help and I feel like I’ve integrated into the team already. Plus I got to visit the office on Wednesday, office is amazing and has so much natural light! – Liam Salero
