More than ever before we need that extra motivation to keep us moving – winter nights are cold and dark, many of us are working remotely from our homes, and others are on board without shore leave resulting is less opportunity to boost our step count.

Well, look no further than this year’s Prince’s Trust ‘Future Steps Challenge’!

The Future Steps Challenge is a 10,000-steps-a-day challenge, throughout the month of February. You can take part as a team of up to six people (all walking individually but aiming to raise £250), or as an individual (aiming to raise £100) – you’ll get fitter, as well as raise vital funds to support the work of The Prince’s Trust, Cunard’s charity partner.

Why take part?

  • Get fit and have fun – look after your physical and mental health by moving more.
  • Build relationships – rally your team and keep each other motivated – you’re all in this together!
  • Spark a bit of healthy competition – Compete to be top of the Future Steps leaderboard!
  • Fundraise to change young lives – The Prince’s Trust will support 60,000 more young people this year. They can’t do it without you.

This year The Prince’s Trust will also be supported by the amazing official band Steps! Check out their Instagram and Tik Tok to see how they’re getting involved this year.

Steps have also created a playlist on Spotify, search ‘Steps X Prince’s Trust for Future Steps 2021′ for some tunes to help keep you motivated!

Get your team involved by downloading the Future Steps app, available on the Apple App store and Google Play. The app will work on iOS and Android devices and you’ll be able to link it with your Fitbit, Apple Health Kit or Google Fit.
