Our Guests have told us that they want to venture off the beaten track and get a true sense of what each destination has to offer. Today, we are pleased to announce that they can do just that as we reveal a new partnership with Urban Adventures.

The new Urban Adventures shore experiences will help our Guests explore destinations in a way that suits their interests and passions, in smaller groups and at their own pace.nSo if you want to uncover delicious street food, backstreet bodegas or hear fascinating tales that really connect you with a city, these are the tours for you! The new experiences are all uniquely personalised by local destination guides, and we hope will appeal to newcomers as well as many repeat Guests, providing a new way of exploring their favourite destinations.

To celebrate our new partnership with Urban Adventures, we also want YOU to try one of our new shore experiences, in a destination of your choice, for free!

What’s the deal?

For any holiday you have booked  in 2019 (not just a cruise) Carnival UK colleagues get one FREE Urban Adventures tour valued up to £70 GBP, and their travel companions receive a 25% discount.

How do I book?

Take a look at the Urban Adventures website at www.urbanadventures.com  and once you have chosen your destination and tour, drop Urban Adventures an email from your Carnival UK/P&O Cruises/Cunard email address at agent@urbanadventures.com. If you don’t have a Carnival UK/P&O Cruises/Cunard email address, for fleet colleagues, visit the Crew Office and they will email Urban Adventures on your behalf. Carnival House colleagues should ask a co-worker to email and explain the situation for you.

You’ll need to provide your 2019 travel dates and choice of tour and they will do the rest! Urban Adventures will also offer 25% discount to employees (and family and friends) as standard on any further bookings for 2019.

Frequently asked questions

Q: How do I book the free tour?
A: Visit the Urban Adventures website at www.urbanadventures.com and once you have chosen your destination and tour, email agent@urbanadventures.com from your Carnival UK/P&O Cruises/Cunard email address. Please provide your travel dates and choice of tour and Urban Adventures will confirm availability.

Q: How do I book my family and friends?
A: At the time of booking your one free tour, for the others in your party, Urban Adventures will provide a discount code for family and friends to book directly on the Urban Adventures website.

Q: What if the tour I have requested is showing not available on the website for my friends and family?
A: Please email agent@urbanadventures.com from your Carnival UK/P&O Cruises/Cunard email address for more information.

Q: Nothing is available at the location that I want?
A: The Urban Adventures tours are subject to availability and in such cases an alternative destination or tour will need to be chosen.

Q: Are there any exclusions?
A: Private or Create Your Own tours are not included in this offer.

Q: The free tour that I want is over 70 GBP?
A: If employees choose a tour over 70 GBP they will be required to pay the difference. Please email agent@urbanadventures.com who will provide further instruction and send you a payment link.

Q: I have booked my free tour, will I receive any discount on other bookings?
A: Urban Adventures will offer a 25% discount as standard on any further bookings in 2019.

Q: I don’t have a Carnival UK/P&O Cruises/Cunard email address?
A: For fleet colleagues, visit the Crew Office and they will email Urban Adventures on your behalf. Carnival House colleagues should ask a co-worker to email and explain the situation for you.

Q: How long is this offer available?
A: The free tour and 25% discount is only valid for 2019 and the Urban Adventures tours must be taken before 31 December 2019.

Q: Do I receive a confirmation?
A: Yes, employees will receive an Urban Adventures voucher, which will need to be shown on the day of the tour.

Q: Where will I meet for my tour and at what time?
A: Full instructions will be provided by Urban Adventures at the time of booking. Any outstanding queries regarding this should be directed to agent@urbanadventures.com

Q: I need to cancel my Urban Adventures tour?
A: Please refer to the Urban Adventures Website for full terms and conditions or contact agent@urbanadventures.com

The fine print

One free of charge Urban Adventures tour available per Carnival UK employee in 2019 (must book and travel in 2019), valued under 70GBP/ 100AUD/ 100NZD/ 100CAD/ 75USD/ 75EUR/ 80CHF/ 1000ZAR. 70GBP may be used towards a higher value tour, please email agent@urbanadventures.com for payment instructions. Carnival UK employees will also get 25% off all subsequent Urban Adventures tours during 2019. A maximum of one free of charge Urban Adventures tour is permitted per Carnival UK employee. Travelling companions receive 25% discount on the same tour. Not redeemable for cash. Offer excludes Private and Create Your Own tours. Offer may be withdrawn at any time but existing bookings will always be honoured. By booking a free of charge tour you will be giving Urban Adventures permission to be opted‐in to receive their industry newsletter.
