It was great to be back at the renowned Chelsea Flower Show, highlight of the horticultural calendar last week, where Cunard made a colourful return, presenting ‘The Stage in partnership with Cunard’. Hear from some of our volunteers about their experience at the show, and read more about the inspiration behind this years’ installation below!

The Stage in partnership with Cunard

Continuing the celebrations of Queen Anne’s arrival, we recommissioned award-winning florist Mary Jane Vaughan to create a natural evolution from last year’s interpretation of our new ship’s bow to a stunning floral installation that welcomes guests on board to view a beautiful sunset from ‘The Cunard porthole’.

Encompassing the spirit of the show, the florals flow onto the Cunard pergola, and into a model of our new bellhop uniform. A botanical illustration of our crest takes centre stage on the reception desk  while CUNARD is spelled out in beautiful blossoming letters.

The four trunks mirror our four Queens sailing, filled with flowers themed by the regions we sail to: Alaska, the Caribbean, and the Mediterranean, as well as our infamous Transatlantic Crossing. And our bellhops, showcasing their brand new uniform, are on hand to welcome our guests to the stand as they would on board.

Visitors have the chance to win a 7-night Norwegian Fjords voyage on board Queen Anne in 2025, and benefit from an exclusive RHS 10% offer. Embracing the horticultural theme of the show, the competition cards have been printed on seeded paper so that nothing goes to waste.

We’d like to thank our shoreside colleagues for all of their help making the week such a great success.
