Monday 23 September sees the start of National Inclusion Week, a celebration of inclusion and diversity in the workplace. This year’s theme is Impact Matters and throughout the week we’ll be exploring themes around the impact that we can all have on making Carnival UK a more inclusive place to work.

Tuesday 24 September: Join us for an inspirational talk with broadcaster, author, and inclusion champion, June Sarpong OBE.

How we’re making an impact at CUK
We’re committed to building a positive culture based on inclusion and the power of diversity. Here are some of the ways we’ve been making an impact:
- Introducing Inclusive Leadership training to leaders across the business.
- Work in the local community to promote careers in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM), such as attending the Maritime Roadshow for Girls.
- Enrolling colleagues on talent programmes through our diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) partner, WiHTL, including Ethnic Future Leaders, Global Female Leaders and Ethnic Senior Leaders.
- Cunard and P&O Cruises supporting Southampton Pride as Headline Sponsors for eight years running.
- Updating our policies on areas such as fertility and transitioning at work.
- Supporting colleagues’ health and wellbeing with Menopause and Cancer Cafés, guidance packs and access to tools to learn and connect with others for support.
