Following this week’s celebrations for CUK Pride, this weekend sees Cunard and P&O Cruises once again support Southampton Pride as headline sponsors for the eighth year! Both brands have a proud and long history of welcoming LGBTQ+ guests and colleagues on board our ships; everyone is welcome however they identify.
A fun, inclusive, family-friendly event, Southampton Pride is bigger and better than ever this year, running over two days on 24-25 August in Southampton Guildhall Square. To support Pride and LGBTQ+ people, we’ll be proudly marching in the parade and representing our brands as inclusive holiday companies and places to work, as well as utilising our expertise to support the running of the main event.
Everyone is welcome and there’s a whole host of spectacular entertainment lined up, including Clare Richards from Steps and 80s song sensation Sonia! Representing our brands we have X Factor winner and star of P&O Cruises Limelight Club, Matt Terry, Cunard’s Rob Houchen and not forgetting performances from our Headliners and Royal Court Theatre Company. And that’s not all, there are fabulous drag queens such as Baga Chipz, Aura Jay and Cherry Liquor, plus DJs, dance performances and more!
