From 26 September – 2 October, we’ll be taking part in National Inclusion Week – a great opportunity for us all to reflect on what we can do, both in and outside of the workplace, to build a more inclusive culture – and take action to make it happen.

Click here for tools and information to help you and your colleagues get involved in line with this year’s themes:
Time to Act, The Power of Now – and The Importance of Allyship

A quick look at what’s on:

  • The power of a pledge:  We’re asking our colleagues, ship and shore, to make pledge. It could be a pledge to support another colleague, speak up on behalf of another, or further your education to better understand someone else’s culture – anything you can do to become a better ally. Find out more here.
  • The power of community: On Tuesday 27 September, head down to the Atrium to meet our Employee Led Networks: Spectrum, m’power, and Athena. Learn more about the networks, their upcoming events, and how you can get involved.
  • The power of representation – In conversation with Rosie Jones: On Friday 30 September at 11am, our DEI Manager, Asha Sorenson, will be joined on Teams by comedian, writer, and actress Rosie Jones. Rosie will be talking to us about her experience as a gay, disabled woman. There will be time for a short Q&A at the end of the event. Send in your questions for Rosie by 22 September.

There’s lots more to get involved in throughout the week, so don’t miss out!

Stay up-to-date here.
