As ‘heroes of safe and well’, getting everyone safely set up to work from home is a priority for us as we continue to adapt to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation.
We want to assure you that we are absolutely committed to supporting you and do the right thing by all colleagues during this unprecedented time.
That’s why we’re supporting you to work from home by:
- Making sure you have everything you need to work effectively.
- Giving guidance on setting up your Display Screen Equipment (DSE)
- Encouraging you to work flexibly to help you juggle child care and home learning whilst continuing to work.
- Providing you with tips and guidance on how to take care of your wellbeing when working from home.
Make sure you stay connected
As the COVID-19 pandemic evolves we made find ourselves having to self-isolate which can give rise to feelings of isolation or loneliness so it’s essential that you continue to communicate with your colleagues.
Whilst working from home, you can expect the same amount of contact with your manage as you would have if you were in the office so you’ll continue to have regular 121’s and team meetings via conference call or video call. Perhaps there could there be some ‘core hours’ you agree as a team when you’re all available, to ensure there’s the opportunity to stay connected and collaborate effectively.
