Earlier this year, we rolled out Level One of Leadership and Management Essentials to our existing shoreside managers.
The programme has gotten off to a flying start, with 95% of colleagues feeling more confident as a manager as a result of attending.

This week, we were delighted to host a special celebration event to congratulate our first cohort of leaders who have completed the programme.
Paul Ludlow welcomed colleagues with his personal reflections on what makes a great leader, and how he has developed himself over his years of working for Carnival UK. Paul spoke about the importance of building trust in a team, why it’s okay to not always have all the answers and he challenged everyone to explore and learn from external resources.

Our leaders were then presented with their exclusive Leadership and Management pin, before tucking into a tasty networking lunch.

Completing the programme is a remarkable achievement and we’re very proud of the growth, dedication and personal investment our leaders have made.
