During February we want you to focus on your own wellbeing, as well as supporting your colleagues.

We recognise that things are tough right now for many people and we have an opportunity to come together to support one another.

With the month of New Year’s resolutions slipping away, it’s safe to say we can all be guilty of letting focus on our wellbeing slip so it’s really important we all take the time to think about wellbeing and what we can do to improve our own.

What is wellbeing exactly?

Not sure where your gaps are?

Try this NHS wellbeing quiz which will help you see what you’re doing well and where you could improve.

We also recommend using the daily ‘self care’ checklist below to help build in reflection and wellbeing focus into your day;

  • Acknowledge one thing that was difficult about your day and let it go
  • Consider 3 things that went well
  • What could you do differently and improve on tomorrow?
  • Are you OK?
  • Are your colleagues OK? Could you take the time to support anyone more?

If you are concerned about your wellbeing or could benefit from speaking to someone, remember there is support available and no worry or concern is too small.

Visit our ‘Wellbeing: Support for you’ pages on The Insider for contact information or speak to your line manager, or a colleague you trust.
