In the UK alone, prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among men. More than 47,500 are diagnosed every single year – that’s 129 men every day.

These stats highlight the importance of taking time for our wellbeing and health. By helping to build awareness of men’s health this month we hope to encourage more men to take action and seek support as early as possible.

Support

If you’re worried about any symptoms you’re experiencing, have been diagnosed with prostate cancer, or perhaps you have a family member or friend who has been diagnosed, you might feel scared, worried, stressed or even angry. Those are perfectly normal feelings to have but remember there are lots of people who are there to help you.

If you’re experiencing any symptoms that are similar to those described in the video above, or anything that is abnormal for you, it’s important you seek medical support via your GP or on board medical team as soon as possible.

Help us raise awareness of Men’s health this month by supporting the Mo movement. Visit The Insider to find out how to join team Carnival UK on their quest to save more men’s lives.
