As we continue to work remotely, and plan to create a future working environment that ensures safety, compliance and the ability to collaborate effectively, it’s important that everyone continues to have the right home working set up.
To ensure your workstation at home is right for you we strongly encourage everyone to read our updated DSE guidance.
Since our DSE assessment back in April, and now that we’re considering remote working longer term, we recognise that you may have new home working requirements. Working closely with Carnival UK, ‘WorkRite’, our DSE provider, are here to support you.
Today you should have received an email from Workrite asking you to complete a short DSE home working training course and self assessment.
This course and self assessment should be completed to help you review your working environment longer term, even if you are happy with your current setup right now.
Any issues raised during the self assessment will be followed up, if required, by a ‘Posturite assessor’, within 10 working days. They will then work closely with you and the Carnival UK Facilities team to resolve any issues you may have.

In addition to looking after our posture, as everyone spends more time indoors than ever before, it’s important we take care of our eyes.

Don’t forget, if you ever have any concerns about your set up at home speak with your line manager who will be able to discuss them with you and make a suitable referral, if appropriate.
