The popular Cash for the Weekend is back and MORE inclusive and accessible than ever before – we’ve only gone and got all digital!
What’s changed?
We know that diaries get busy and business / life priorities take over when it comes to getting down to the Atrium to purchase your ticket to the draw each week, so we’ve taken the draw online. We’ve also changed the draw from weekly to monthly meaning more time for you to take part and a bigger cash pot which will be paid out mid month to one lucky winner.
To address card payment fees as a result of taking the draw online we have increased the entry fee from £1 to £2 per entry but this also means more money in the cash pot for you whilst supporting our very deserving charity partner, Southampton City Farm.
There is no limit to how many times you can enter, all £2 denominations will be counted individually i.e. £10 = 5 tickets into the draw. The winning name will be drawn at random as previously done.
How to play
Enter the draw by making a donation to the Cash for the Weekend Just Giving Page and at the end of Octobers draw (07 November 2019 at 00:00) we’ll draw one name at random, 50% of the cash pot will be donated to our official charity partner Southampton City Farm, the remaining 50% (minus card processing fee – see full Cash for the weekend Terms and Conditions) could be yours!
The winner will be contacted directly by the charity committee and announced in the weekly round up on 8 November.
(Top tips)
- Make sure you include your full name on your donation so we can put your name in the hat and contact you if your name is drawn
- Make sure you select ‘show donation amount’ on entry so every £2 entry can be counted
