October is Mental Health Month – an opportunity to remind ourselves of the importance of taking care of ourselves and supporting each other. Throughout the month we’ll be encouraging everyone to focus on the five pillars of wellbeing; connect, be active, keep learning, take notice and give, and we’ll be hosting a variety of workshops to help you do this. We’ll also be sharing weekly activities with your line manager for you to complete as a team!

For those based shoreside, we’ll also be introducing Wellness Wednesday throughout the month; a pop up event hosted by the Atrium Cafe team at Carnival House. If you’re working from Carnival House pop down each Wednesday to sample some new healthy menu choices, watch a recipe demo or pick up one of their ‘good stuff’ healthy options. Keep an eye on The Insider where we’ll be sharing details of what’s happening each week.
Another of the five pillars of wellbeing is give. It’s proven that giving provides that feel good factor but it’s important to remember it doesn’t always have to be a physical gift, it could be the gift of knowledge or simply making someone feel welcome.
