Arcadia has claimed the top spot in this year’s Battle of the Bars, emerging as champions of the P&O Cruises fleet-wide competition designed to recognise the outstanding achievements of our incredible bar teams.
Running from 1 May to 30 June, Battle of the Bars challenged teams across the fleet to demonstrate outstanding performance, consistency and service delivery. The competition focused on three key measures that showcase the skills and dedication of our bar teams every day.
Teams were scored on their improvement in Speed of Service (SoS) scores compared with the previous year, drinks sold per guest per day, and the highly anticipated Perfect Round Under Pressure challenge. This live-style test put teams through their paces, assessing speed, accuracy, teamwork and customer service under pressure.
Arcadia excelled across all areas of the competition, showcasing the passion, commitment and collaboration that help us SHINE and create memorable guest experiences. Their victory reflects the hard work of the entire bar team and their drive to continually raise standards.
