Aurora’s vibrant onboard community has been in full focus recently, with two special events bringing colleagues together to celebrate talent, strengthen connections and support one another.
Tantalised by talent
One of the highlights was Aurora’s much-anticipated crew talent show, which once again demonstrated that their ship is home to an incredible group of talented individuals. While guests know our crew members for their exceptional service and dedication, this special event offered an opportunity to showcase another side of the people who help make every voyage memorable.
The majority of performers came from the Food & Beverage department, joined by several members of the Entertainment team. Together, they delivered an inspiring and entertaining show that captivated the audience from start to finish.
From powerful vocal performances and energetic dance routines to impressive musical talents and remarkable juggling acts, the show highlighted the breadth of creativity that exists across our crew. Every performer took to the stage with passion, confidence and enthusiasm, creating a memorable experience for everyone in attendance.
The event was a reminder that, alongside delivering outstanding guest experiences every day, many of our colleagues also possess extraordinary artistic and performance skills. Their willingness to share these talents not only entertained guests and fellow crew members, but also strengthened the sense of community that makes life onboard Aurora so special.
Time for tea
Just days earlier, on 4 September, Aurora hosted a special Tea Time gathering for the ship’s onboard women’s community in the Alexandria Restaurant. The event brought together women representatives from different departments to share experiences, discuss challenges and explore ways to further strengthen support for women living and working onboard.
With approximately 160 women currently onboard, the gathering provided a valuable opportunity for colleagues from across the ship to exchange ideas, offer feedback and discuss initiatives that could help enhance wellbeing, inclusion and connection throughout the onboard community.
The event was warmly hosted by HR Manager Sharon and the Crew Welfare Office, whose commitment to creating a supportive and welcoming environment helped make the afternoon both engaging and inspiring. Conversations focused on building an even stronger network of support and ensuring all women onboard feel connected, valued and heard.
A special thank you also goes to colleagues in the Food & Beverage department, whose support helped create a welcoming atmosphere where everyone could relax, connect and enjoy the occasion.
Together, these events reflect the strength of Aurora’s onboard community. Whether through sharing hidden talents on stage or creating space for meaningful conversations and support, our colleagues continue to demonstrate the passion, inclusivity and spirit that make Aurora such a special place to live and work.
Thank you to everyone involved for making both events such a success and for helping to create an environment where colleagues can celebrate their individuality, build lasting connections and thrive together onboard.
