Recognising crew members who keep operations running through the night is an important part of building a positive and supportive onboard community. With this in mind, F&B Manager Mark Oldroyd organised a special breakfast gathering for Queen Anne’s night shift team.
The initiative was supported by Crew Welfare Officer Malu Funchal, who worked closely with department administrators across the ship to make sure every eligible crew member received a personal invitation letter delivered directly to their cabin.
On the day of the event, Aji Wa provided the perfect setting for crew members to unwind after their overnight duties and enjoy a delicious breakfast with colleagues. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, conversation, and a strong sense of camaraderie. Seeing so many smiling faces throughout the venue was a clear reflection of how much the gesture was appreciated.
The breakfast was a great success, with many crew members expressing gratitude for the opportunity to be recognised for their hard work and dedication. For those who work while much of the ship is asleep, this event served as a meaningful reminder that their contributions are seen, valued, and appreciated.
