Starting today, Monday 11 may, we’re officially simplifying our corporate name to Carnival Corporation – dropping the ‘& plc.’ Nothing changes about how we operate, our cruise line brands, our ships or your role. We’re now just doing it under a simpler parent company name.

We’ve also updated the Carnival Corporation logo to match. Our refreshed logo is a clean and modern visual expression of what we want the world to know – that we are one company…united, focused and built for whatever comes next.

Why the change?

Following enthusiastic shareholder approval in April and recent court approval, we’re making things less complicated at the top of the house – moving from two separate stock listings (Carnival Corporation and Carnival plc) to a single listing on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under Carnival Corporation, with Carnival plc becoming our wholly owned UK subsidiary. Technically our new name is Carnival Corporation Ltd. but we’ll generally use Carnival Corporation when referring to ourselves. Learn more in these FAQs.

  • The Rollout: Starting today, you’ll see our new name and logo popping up across our corporate website, social channels, templates, policies and more. With so much to update, this will be done gradually over time.

  • Carnival Corporation Brand Assets: While most of you may never need these, the new Carnival Corporation materials – logos, templates, digital resources and more are available in the Carnival Corporation Communications Asset Library.

While the corporate name and brand are getting a refresh, the heart of this company stays exactly where it belongs – with you. Our company’s true identity lives in the work you do every day, delivering happiness to millions of guests by providing extraordinary cruise vacations, while honouring the integrity of every ocean we sail, place we visit and life we touch. That’s what truly matters.
