Our latest Life On Board Survey is now open. This is your opportunity to share your views about what it feels like to live and work onboard P&O Cruises and Cunard ships.

Have your say today!

Look out for your email invitation and complete the survey before midnight (BST) on Monday 4 May 2026. You can also access the survey via complimentary browsing on Crew Wi-Fi, or by scanning the QR code on the posters displayed onboard. The survey must only be completed once per crew member.

Your voice is important and has a direct influence on the way things are done onboard, so please take the opportunity to tell us what you think.

What you’ll be asked and why

You’ll be asked questions to understand how you feel about working on board, what you like, and what could be done better. The information you share will never be used to identify you so please be open and honest.

Here are some of the changes that your feedback has contributed to since the last survey:

  • Improving women’s experience on board
We continue to support women and non-binary colleagues on board through our Women Seafarers Group (WSG). Providing safe spaces across all levels, ships can choose events or activities that work best for them.
    .
  • We now have Welfare Officers on board all our ships
Our Welfare Officers provide increased focus on crew wellbeing through increasing the range of recreation activities available and developing a range of crew communities and interest groups on board.
    .
  • More choice for travel to and from our ships
Following your requests, we’ve updated our approved home airport list. Since April 2025 we’ve included another 36 locations, giving more choice when you travel to and from our ships.
    .
  • Further rollout of Hotel Career Passports
Career Passports provide a fair and transparent process for career progression and enable leaders to assess an individual’s skills, knowledge and behaviour in readiness for their next career move. These are now live in more departments including P&O Cruises Housekeeping, P&O Cruises and Cunard Production, and P&O Cruises Galley.
    .
  • Improving transparency of promotion process on P&O Cruises ships
Further to Career Passports, to specifically address feedback about promotion wait times, we have launched onboard posters giving more information about how long it will take to progress those currently in the promotion pool. This gives crew a clearer and more realistic understanding of when they may be promoted.
    .
  • Supporting the smaller things that make a big difference
Your teams on board have also been working on feedback specific to your ship to make positive changes that are tailored to your feedback. We’ve seen lots of activity around your wellbeing and communications – speak to your leadership team onboard to learn more about the progress made here.

Why complete the survey?

Every survey response counts. Your feedback directly contributes to us making improvements as well as continuing the things you like. Together, we can keep making your onboard experience better, ensuring this remains a workplace you’re proud to be part of.
