Medics onboard Arcadia, together with the Welfare Officer, organised a meaningful and engaging event for crew members at sea.
The highlight of the event was an interactive Medic Quiz, hosted by the medical team and led by the Senior Doctor. The quiz was thoughtfully designed, combining a variety of trivia, practical learning points, and fun challenges that kept everyone actively involved. It was not only educational but also highly entertaining, creating a lively and positive atmosphere onboard.
One of the most exciting segments was the return demonstration, where a member of the medical team showcased practical skills for the crew. This hands-on approach allowed participants to better understand important health practices in a simple and memorable way.
A total of five teams participated in the quiz, showing great enthusiasm and teamwork. The activity encouraged friendly competition while strengthening bonds among crew members.
More importantly, the event served a deeper purpose – it helped raise awareness about stress, especially in the unique environment of working at sea. Crew members gained valuable insights into recognising stress, understanding its effects, and learning practical ways to manage it in their daily lives.
