This month Aurora will be treated to a refreshing refit that will leave her spruced up and looking more beautiful than ever. Our smallest ship of the fleet and a favourite for our returning guests, we’ll be elevating her bars, restaurants, pools, spa and cabins, bringing in new colour palettes and contemporary design elements. It’s the Aurora our guests know and love, with a luxurious new look.

When it comes to dining on Aurora, our guests are spoilt for choice. We’re updating the interiors of these popular venues for an even more stylish dining experience.

Sindhu: The colour palette in the popular British Indian restaurant will be updated with autumnal tones, while traditional and contemporary patterns will echo the restaurant’s fusion ethos.

Medina Restaurant: Bold colours and intricate patterns are on the menu in this main dining restaurant. The design direction will take inspiration from Aztec art, with striking colour combinations and luxe fabrics.

Lido Grill: Playful colour combinations and modern furniture with clean lines will bring the tables and chairs at this poolside eatery to life.

Riviera Pool: Emulating the sorbet hues of parasols on the Italian Riviera, this swimming spot will have new tiling and furniture in sophisticated corals and aquamarines.

Horizon Restaurant: The popular self-service restaurant will be updated with new flooring in fresh, earth-toned colourways.

Bars

A night out on Aurora can be anything from casual to decadent. The refit will add even more flair to these stylish spaces.

Masquerade: By day, Masquerade hosts entertainment such as quizzes and workshops; when the sun goes down it’s the go-to spot for drinks, live music and late-night dancing. True to its name, it’s new look is inspired by elaborate masks and peacock feathers, with touches of iridescent colours, monochrome fabrics and striking blue detailing.

Carmen’s: The new design direction at this sumptuous show lounge draws inspiration from flamenco dancers and the passionate opera the bar shares a name with. Think deep vivid reds, luxurious textures and rhythmic shapes across carpets, tiles and seating. The dance floor will also be given an upgrade.

The Crow’s Nest: We’re upping the decadence factor in this stately bar with fabrics in deep, saturated colours and classic patterns, plus thoughtful details such as bronze studs and stylish stitching.

Pennant Bar: New furniture evokes the vibe of vintage speedboats with their glossy woods, sparkling chrome details and classic light-blue and brick-red tones.

Suites: The headboards, curtains, sofas, desk chairs and cushions in many of Aurora’s Suites will be upgraded with a gentle colour palette of lavender and neutrals, warm wooden tones and soft textures.

Elsewhere on board we’ll be;

  • Adding new deck furniture to the Terrance Pool
  • Updating the theme of the Crystal Pool (Aurora’s main pool) to create a fresh and calm experience for guests
  • Enhancing the serenity of the Oasis spa by adding warm-toned parquet flooring, soft earthy tones and minimalist finishes
