On Tuesday 12 December, The Prince’s Trust hosted their annual Christmas Carol Concert in the magnificent St Paul’s Cathedral in London and Cunard were proud to be headline partner.

This very special event welcomed in the season with readings from Prince’s Trust celebrity Ambassadors including Dame Vanessa Redgrave, David Harewood OBE, Dame Joanna Lumley, YolanDa Brown OBE, Joely Richardson, and Sir Tony Robinson.

Guests sat by candlelight in the iconic London landmark and were honoured with musical performances by world renowned singer Jamie Cullum, as well as hearing from The London Youth Choir and St Paul’s Cathedral Choir also sang a selection of carols.

Joining the celebrity readers was Prince’s Trust Young Ambassador and 2023 winner of the Pride of Britain Young Achiever Award, Tskenya-Sarah Frazer, who read a biblical passage.

Tskenya said:

I’m so pleased to a part of this year’s Carol Concert. As a young person who has been supported by The Prince’s Trust, it is always an honour to be able to give back and help champion the life changing support, and advocacy that The Trust provides.

The annual Carol Concert is in partnership with Cunard and raises money for The Prince’s Trust’s work supporting young people to build the confidence and skills they need to live, learn, and earn and this year the concert alone has raised a phenomenal £500,000!

You can be part of the magic as Classic FM will broadcast the musical performances of the evening, spreading the magic of this year’s Concert. The broadcast will take place on the 23rd December 2023 at 6pm and will be available for seven days on the Global Radio Player.

Cunard is a Platinum Patron of The Prince’s Trust and is proud to work closely with The Trust not just in the UK, but now also in Australia and North America and thanks to the continuing generosity of our guests, crew, and friends, we have raised three million pounds, to help The Trust to continue to deliver the crucial support that young people need, through fundraising activities on board our ships and on land.
