**NEW** Are we able to keep our current work mobile phone numbers once we have left the business?
Unfortunately it is not possible to retain your current work mobile phone number once you have left the business. The phone numbers remain the property of the company and will be released back into AIDA’s pool of numbers after a certain period of time and therefore used again by other employees. 

I have secured a new role outside of Carnival to start in January, what if the ship is delayed until January, will I sacrifice my departure payment as I won’t complete the delivery due to risking my new employment contract?
We really appreciate the commitment you’ve made to Corporate Shipbuilding and to seeing through the project until delivery. With that in mind, we have also made a commitment to you and so we’ll endeavour to work with you should you find yourself in this situation. Please speak to Gemma Waterfield or Juha Sinkkonen in the first instance.

Will CTS GmbH be utilising the remaining tax-free inflation bonus allowance in line with the German scheme to pay the departure payment?
Yes, we will be using the remainder of the tax-free inflation bonus allowance for all departure payments.

When will I receive my employee reference from HR if I will be leaving the business after the delivery of Carnival Jubilee?
All employees will receive their reference letter as usual when they leave the business. However, an early interim reference for job searching can be requested via AIDA HR directly. Please send an email to hrm-shore@aida.de, subject; Interim reference letter and include a minimum of five and a maximum of 10 bullet points which give a brief overview of your main job tasks. They will then be able to send you the interim reference letter.

How will you decide who is relocated and where?
We have been having informal discussions with affected employees to understand what people’s aspirations are in terms of potential future roles and where there may be possible opportunities elsewhere within the corporation.

As you’re aware, currently there are no future orders for Corporate Shipbuilding and as such, we won’t be able to guarantee requests to relocate can be supported as this will depend on where resources are needed in our other locations.

What support will be offered to those who are relocated?
Support offered will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and discussed with employees directly. 

I can’t relocate, and this means I may leave the business after the delivery of Carnival Jubilee, what plans are in place to ensure I will stay with Carnival until the delivery instead of securing a new job now?
In recognition of people’s commitment and loyalty to seeing the delivery of Carnival Jubilee through to conclusion, we’ll be providing a discretional departure payment to eligible employees. Eligibility for this payment has been confirmed recently by letter, sent via email, so please refer to your copy of the letter for this information.

I don’t want to relocate, and this may mean that I leave the business before the delivery of Carnival Jubilee, will I be entitled to any financial support from the Company?
To be eligible for the departure payment, you must satisfy a number of criteria, one of which is that you must complete the build and delivery of Carnival Jubilee.

What happens to my outstanding annual leave once Carnival Jubilee is delivered?
We would like to remind you of the importance of taking a break from work and as such would ask that your annual leave is planned and booked in advance as much as possible. There is still plenty of time to take some time out before the ship delivery begins to ramp up. Any outstanding holiday will be paid to you in your final salary payment following the delivery of Carnival Jubilee.

When will you inform the rest of Corporate Shipbuilding of what is happening?
We will be sharing a communication once we have confirmed all of the details.  

I’m on a fixed term contract, what does this mean for me?
We anticipate that those on fixed term contracts will continue to work until the delivery of Carnival Jubilee.

I’m on a fixed-term contract, is there any financial support for me from the Company once Carnival Jubilee has been delivered?
