Today (Thursday 15 December 2022) at 09:18 (German time), Paul Ludlow, President, P&O Cruises, accepted delivery of Arvia from Meyer Werft in an official handover ceremony on board the vessel whilst the ship was docked in Bremerhaven.
Talking about the delivery, Bo-Erik Blomqvist said:
The delivery of Arvia marks our fourth and final delivery for 2022 and what a one to finish on! This build has seen some significant challenges throughout and particularly in the final few months. Everyone’s commitment and dedication to rise to those challenges makes me proud to be part of Corporate Shipbuilding, I hope you are proud of all that you have achieved too.
Many of you directly involved in this build have worked tirelessly to get this ship over the line and I hope in the coming weeks you have some well-earned rest and time to reconnect with family and friends.
Arvia is due to arrive in Southampton on Sunday 18 December and set off on her first sailing on 23 December 2022.
