It’s the big day! Today Queen Victoria welcomes guests back on board, marking a full return to guest operations for our Cunard fleet.
Sture Myrmell, President of Cunard, shares his thoughts on today’s milestone moment:
“After the twists and turns of the past two years, to see all three Queens back together at sea again is a truly wonderful moment and one we should all feel very proud of.
None of this could have been possible without the achievements of our colleagues both on board and ashore, who have worked so tirelessly, with dedication, commitment, and energy to get us where we are today. Thank you for all your efforts and everything you have done to help us reach this milestone.
Of course Queen Victoria has played an extra special role in our journey back, with her incredible support to many other ships in our Carnival family as they’ve navigated challenges over the past year. Today though, her brilliant ship’s company are back to doing what they do best – delighting our guests and delivering the White Star service we’re so very proud of.
Looking ahead to the future, there’s so much to excited about with our new ship Queen Anne joining the fleet in early 2024 – she’s going to be spectacular. But for today, let’s all take a moment to celebrate the return of Queen Victoria and our long-awaited return to service.
