To get the best out of everyone we recognise the power of flexibility and working from the right environment. At Carnival House you can now choose from almost 10 different work spaces. Together we have the opportunity to say goodbye to sitting at a desk 9 till 5 and really start to think about how we use the office so that we make the most of our time and everything Carnival House has to offer.
What workspaces are available to me at Carnival House?
Collaboration & focus zones
You’ll find our collaboration zone on floor 2, North West. This is a non-bookable informal space that can be used for small team meetings, 1:1’s or individual work.
On floor 2, South East you’ll find our focus zone which again is non-bookable and has been created for more reflective and focused tasks. Within this space there are a variety of non-bookable tables, booths, and seating which can be used when you need to avoid distraction. Please be aware that next to our focus zone is Tranquil Tides, our wellbeing corner. This is a calm, quiet corner of Carnival House for colleagues to reflect, take a moment, and disconnect. Please don’t use this space to work from.
Gdynia
Located on floor 1 is one of our newer bookable meeting spaces, Gdynia. This space has been introduced for creative collaborative work and larger team meetings. All furniture is on wheels in this space and can be moved depending on how teams want to use it. It also features a screen for Teams call and/or presentation. This area is bookable via Condeco, just look for the floor one meeting rooms tab and ‘hybrid area (ideation). Please know this meeting space has no walls so may not be suitable for confidential work.
Meeting spaces
Carnival House benefits from 82 bookable/non bookable meeting rooms. To make sure every room is being used for its intended purpose, some rooms that were allocated as project rooms have now been returned to general use. We’ll keep reviewing use of all our meeting spaces to make sure they are always being used in the most effective way. All meeting rooms with the exception of Gdynia and Victoria are bookable via Outlook.
Pods
You’ll find a range of open pods and pods with doors all around Carnival House. These are non-bookable and perfect for 1:1’s, phone calls and work that requires more focus.
Victoria
Located on floor 4 at the front of the building you’ll find Victoria, our largest bookable in person meeting space at Carnival House. This space can seat up to 140 colleagues and is the perfect space for larger meetings and events. To book this space please speak with your departments EA or PA.
Desks
All desks at Carnival House are bookable via Condeco. To help you find space with your immediate team (when you need to) Condeco defaults to the area you’ve listed in your settings. To find out how to update your settings or find different floors, visit the Condeco support page. There are a mix of standard desks and height adjustable desks available on all floors. If you’d like to use a height adjustable desk make sure you select this when making a booking. Height adjustable desks are highlighted with a green circle and a star. All desks will be fitted with a single screen, docking capability, mouse and keyboard. For guidance on how to set up your desk, including how to connect your laptop, click here.
Touchdown tables
For the days you simply need to read a few emails or charge your laptop between meetings, we’ve added non bookable touchdown areas. There are six touchdown areas spread across floors 0, 2, 3 & 4 and have clearly highlighted the touchdown tables with vinyl to make them easy to find. At each touchdown area you’ll find charging points and laptop cables to help you power up your devices.
Atrium
The Atrium is a versatile space, as well as being our main break out space for lunch/drinks etc. The soft seating area and tall tables are perfect for catch ups and short meetings. To book an area of the atrium for an event please contact Internal Comms.
