Meet the crew – Jins Mon, Hotel Assistant

The countdown is on! As Iona prepares to set sail on her maiden cruise, we’ve been catching up with a few of our colleagues on board to hear their stories.

Say hello to Jins Mon, Hotel Assistant:

Hello, my name is Jins and I’m from Kerala in India. This is my second contract with P&O Cruises and before Iona I was working on board Azura.

I started working at sea because I wanted to see the world, meet different people and see their cultures.

I am a Hotel Assistant in the Housekeeping department and it is my job to take care of the cabins. I love being happy at work, seeing all of the crew and being able to work with my friends.

After a busy day, I like to catch up with my friends over a nice coffee in the Mess or The Hub. I also like to look on social media to see what my family are getting up to back at home.

I’m so happy to be working on board Iona and look forward to seeing our Guests soon.”
