First of all thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate a colleague, we had a total of 29 nominations with some individuals receiving more than one nomination which is fantastic.
It’s great to see so many of you recognising others who are living and breathing our Culture Essentials. It was a tough decision to make but as we announced at the recent town hall, our winners for this round were as follows:
Martin Ralph, Senior Electrical Engineer, Technical & Asset Management Dept for Communicate and Improve
Martin was nominated by three different people for the work he is doing for the Seabourn Venture project, here’s what his nominators had to say about him:
“Martin has recently assumed the role of providing technical support (electrical / automation) to the Seabourn Venture project under construction at Mariotti, Genoa. Martin has demonstrated impressive enthusiasm, energy and dedication to improving communication lines between interested stakeholders (Mariotti technical, Seabourn / HAG and CCS internal sub-depts). Martin is adding significant value to the project with clear communications facilitating the building of bridges between teams and stakeholders. This, in turn, develops and improves working relationships at all levels.”
“He accepted challenging task with higher responsibility.”
“Martin has recently taken over responsibility of the Electrical aspects of this project. A very difficult project, in which he has shown a high degree of professionalism in his approach, to ensure issues are dealt with in a timely manner. He’s already managed to make progress on some long standing issues with the shipyard to enhance the overall design of the vessel and developed a high level of communication with all stakeholders (Shipyard/Operating line/CCS site/ CCS internal). A true asset to the CCS team.”

“During the cabin mock up inspection for Project Sphere Luigi & Joao expressed various considerations about the design of the cabin based on experience from other projects. With this contribution the final result of the cabin mock up definitely improved and innovation in the use of a Go Pro were used for the cabin mock up due to limitations on travel.”
