Well it’s certainly been a long time coming but finally Iona arrived in her home port of Southampton on the morning of Sunday 16 May 2021 and was officially named by her godmother, Dame Irene Hays, the same evening.
We wanted to share some photos along the way, from the various stages of construction to her arrival and those of you that welcomed her in person and also joined in for the virtual naming ceremony.
We hope you are all extremely proud of your contribution (big and small) in getting this incredible ship to this point and another great addition to the Corporation’s wider fleet.
