Every year, a wide variety of world events impact our operations and require our timely and thoughtful focus and response. In early February 2020, however, none of us had a true sense of the magnitude of what would rapidly become the most significant global event in a generation.
Princess recently marked a full year of incident response efforts for the COVID-19 pandemic. It is amazing to think how different our world at Princess – and, in fact, all facets of our daily lives – seemed just twelve months ago.
As we reached this milestone, I asked you to remember the moments in 2020 that made us a more connected company, and to share gratitude with those who supported you through these challenging days.
Now it is my turn to share gratitude with each of you. At ‘Share the Vision’ today, we debuted a 2020 time capsule video featuring images that were captured throughout the most unprecedented year in Princess’ history. We created this video to recognize each member of our global team for everything you have achieved, and to thank you for all you have done.
As we turn our sights to what’s ahead in 2021, we must continue to celebrate our successes and maintain the strong support we offer each other through our challenges. It is that spirit of one team with one dream that has gotten us through this journey so far, and will continue to sustain us in the months to come. Together, we will emerge to share our world, share our hearts, protect our Earth, and create lasting memories once more.
