Back in November, some of you attended UK Harvest’s ‘Most Wasted Dinner Party’, an event created to show people how to create a three-course restaurant quality meal from leftovers and some of the country’s most commonly wasted foods.

Now, one month on, UK Harvest are in the midst of their festive campaign where they hope to raise £40,000 to help feed families over the festive period. Better yet, anything donated before 23 December will be matched and funds doubled!

“This has come at a very opportune time for us, given how much food we are frantically trying to deliver out this side of Christmas, and we wanted to share it with everyone that has helped us this year”.

Sarah Morison, Partnership Manager

Who are UK Harvest?

Since April, P&O Cruises and Cunard have been working with food redistribution charity UK Harvest to pass on unneeded food from our ships to charities, homeless centres, refuges and youth centres.

UK Harvest is a not-for-profit perishable food rescue operation and education charity, eliminating hunger and food waste, by: re-distributing quality excess food, providing education, engaging with communities and inspiring innovation.
