So far this year we have all experienced a significant period of change and quarter three (Q3) has been no different. We’ve adjusted to new ways of working, managed the business through crisis and navigated collective consultation.
Whilst times of change can be unsettling, they are also a time for us to truly test our core values, as well as live and breathe our behaviours.

Our Values Awards scheme exists to celebrate and showcase our colleagues who demonstrate our values and behaviours in their daily work, and reward those who go above and beyond in their efforts to create unforgettable holiday happiness for our Guests.

All shoreside Carnival UK colleagues can nominate and be nominated for our Values Awards.
We announce our values award winners every business quarter. The nomination window for Q3 is open between 27 July and 25 August.
- The nomination window opens and votes are collated by business area.
- In each business area an individual winner, two runners up and one team winner will be selected by their senior leaders. Due to the size of Shared Services, three winners, six runners up and three team winners will be chosen from this business area.
- The individual and team winners from each business area form the shortlist for our Values Awards.
- The Executive Leadership Team (ELT) will select one individual winner and one team winner each quarter from the shortlist - this person /team become the quarter winners.
- At the end of the year, all four individual winners are entered into a poll and all colleagues encouraged to vote for their Value Award Winner of the Year.
At a business area level all winners chosen by their Senior Leadership Team who will be awarded £100 of WOW points, 1st runners up receive £50 of WOW points and 2nd runners up £25 of WOW points.
All individuals chosen to be awarded the title of Value Award winner by ELT will be able to choose their prize from Carnival UK's Prizes to delight menu.
All teams chosen to be awarded the title of Value Award winner by ELT will receive a team lunch.
Our Value Award Winner of the Year will entitled to redeem a cruise of their choice free of charge.
