The SSO EEG are now meeting weekly over Zoom (check out the image above!) to ensure that we maintain engagement during this difficult time. We are working hard to ensure SSO keep connected!

Each Monday we will be announcing the coming week’s activity and each Friday we will be announcing that week’s winner or an update.

In and amongst this fun we will also be sharing some useful advice, good news stories and updates from the EEG.

For now here are some key things we want to remind you of:

  • All SSO colleagues can email the SSO EEG at any time to give feedback, ask a question or ask for guidance. This inbox is monitored only by the EEG Members and everything you share will always be kept 100% confidential
  • We host monthly drop in sessions, the next one being 7th April. Normally we book out a meeting room for an afternoon and people can drop in, however this one will be held over Zoom. Don’t worry, we will set up the meeting so only one person will be on the call at the time, you will be kept in a virtual anonymous waiting room if more than one person is trying to join at the same time
  • You can always email one of us directly if you don’t wish to use the SSO EEG email. Find out who our representatives are here (they don’t have to be from your area, all members represent the whole of SSO)
  • Talk to your line manager! They should have guidance on many topics including working from home and working flexibly. If you have any concerns they are a good person to speak to
  • Don’t forget to speak to each other, make the most of Zoom or a phone call and contact your colleagues!
