To specifically support our fleet colleagues we have created a new, dedicated fleet-focused area on The Insider
In this new section we’ll be promoting health and wellbeing advice for life on board, the latest news from colleagues’ home countries, and the most up-to-date fleet FAQs.
The Insider can be accessed from all mobile devices and added as a home screen bookmark in a few simple steps – for colleagues far from home, it’s really important they are reassured with easy access to a single source of truth for coronavirus (COVID-19) guidance, support and FAQs.
NEW! Free Wi-Fi on board
Being able to keep in touch with family and friends at home is really important for our people living on board at the moment. That’s why we are supporting them to stay connected by enabling temporary free WiFi for ships with no Guests currently on board.
We are also working on additional options to improve the internet connectivity experience for everyone on board and will share more details when this has happened.
NEW! Increased updates to our Senior Management Teams (SMT)
Every Monday we email all SMT members a SMT Dashboard. This dashboard email provides key information on up and coming activities that affect life on board, and all information comes under our four key areas of HESS, people, on-board revenue and Guest experience.
As the coronavirus situation is changing rapidly, it’s vital that our leadership team on board remain connected with ongoing business developments. That’s why, until further notice, we are publishing the SMT Dashboard three times a week – Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
We’re doing this to make sure they have the most up-to-date information in the timeliest manner, and to also help reduce the frequency of ad hoc communications from across the business to colleagues on board.
