On a sunny day in September, the Maritime department swapped Engine Room visits and project planning for outdoor games and a BBQ at the team’s Summer away day in the New Forrest.

100 Maritime colleagues descended upon Avon Tyrrell for a day packed with games, such as Kubb, croquet and giant Jenga. There were also activities including raft building, mountain biking, a treasure hunt, and a fiercely competitive quiz. Colleagues let their hair down and enjoyed the last of the Summer sunshine while getting creative!

The away day was also a chance to recognise the tremendous efforts of the Maritime team, and in particular some individuals who were recognised by colleagues in the Q3 Value Awards.
