On 15 November we’ll once again be one of the call centres taking donations for this year’s BBC Children in Need and we need your talents to help us make it another success!
Last year Carnival UK we took a whopping £89,800 in donations on the night, beating our donations target! We also came eighth out of the 48 Call Centres taking part.
And this year we’ll be doing it all again. But these events don’t just happen – they require planning and organisation. That’s why we’re looking for a range of talented people from across Carnival House to take on specific roles.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Call centre volunteers – Man the phones and help take donations on the night. Don’t worry, you’ll be given all the training you need!
- Donations manager – will be in charge of contacting local businesses to collect donations to us for the event, for example food and drinks
- Entertainment manager – source and manage the entertainment for the event
- IT manager – be on hand for set up and during the event to assist with any IT enquiries
- Team leaders – leading the teams that will be on the phones, creating a theme for your team, communication information to your team
- Runners – available to assist at the event
- Welfare Team – Making sure our Volunteers are fed and watered
- Social Media/ Videographer – to capture the event through images and videos, to share the content on relevant social media platforms
- Telephony agents – taking donations at the event via the telephones
If you’re interested please contact us with the role you wish to take on at CIN@CarnivalUKGroup.com before Friday 11 October (or 25 October for all call centre volunteers).
You could help beat last year!
