Cunard and award winning micro-brewery, Dark Revolution, recently teamed up to create a bespoke and exclusive range of craft beers available on the ships.
These new Cunard Craft Beers are the latest addition to our exclusive beverage collection available on board that also features our very own 3 Queens Gin, Cunard Private Label and Cunard Private Reserve wines.
Working together with expert head brewer, Greg Hughes, at the Wiltshire based brewery in the South of England, we have developed a trio of signature craft beers consisting of a ‘Black’ Stout, a ‘Red’ IPA, and a ‘Gold Pilsner’. Available in draught, cans and a Tasting Flight, each exclusive beer is hand-crafted in small batches and is unfiltered and unpasteurised for maximum flavour.
Taking cues from Cunard’s maritime history and international navigation, the team have explored both traditional styles and modern contortions in their pursuit for perfection. Using British malts, fresh international hops and natural yeast as the base, each of the bespoke craft beers has its own distinct profile. The malt gives a canvas to create different flavour and colour profiles and body, whereas, the hops add bitterness, flavours and aromas – the hallmarks of balanced precision.
