Our Values Award scheme is here to celebrate and showcase our shoreside colleagues who demonstrate our values and behaviours, going above and beyond in their efforts to create unforgettable holiday happiness for our Guests. Based on your feedback we’ve made some improvements to our awards process to make sure everyone across Carnival UK is being recognised in the same way.

Having started to see a dip in nominations, despite seeing loads of fantastic work going on, we listened to your feedback on what wasn’t working with our awards and decided to make some changes:

  • All business areas will run a quarterly recognition award programme.
  • Any CUK colleague shoreside can be nominated for our Values Award through their quarterly business area scheme, by any peer or manager.
  • The nomination window for the business area schemes are open in line with the quarterly business reporting periods and nominating will be done via a survey link.
  • In each Business area, a winner and two runner ups will be selected by their Senior Leaders.
  • The winners from each business area will then form the shortlist for our Values Awards. The ELT will select one winner each quarter to be the Quarterly Values Award Winner.
  • At the end of the year, a vote will take place and one of our 4 Values Awards winners will be crowned our Values Award Winner of the Year!

So, how can you nominate someone…

Keep an eye out for the survey link from your department’s EA, giving you the chance to nominate your colleagues. You’ll then have until Sunday 1 September to submit your nomination and really recognise someone who’s going above and beyond.

What they could win…

Winners and runners up in each business area will share a generous pot of Wow points. Following this our quarterly winner will get to choose their prize from a list of rewards designed to celebrate the unique experiences we can offer our people as a well-renowned travel company.

Our Values Award Winner of the Year will then be chosen and celebrated Christmas 2019, winning a prize that will enable them to experience the same unforgettable holiday happiness that we give our Guests.

Want to nominate someone who works in Carnival House but isn’t a CUK employee?

The re-launched scheme is for CUK but we welcome nominations for any person that works in Carnival House. Just fill out your nomination link and these nominations will be passed to the relevant area / manager so they can be recognised under their own scheme – we don’t want colleagues who go above and beyond to miss out after all.

So, if you know someone who’s living our values and behaviours make sure you nominate them through our improved awards!
