Just over a year ago, we, in Carnival House, started a partnership with Breast Cancer Haven as our chosen charity for 2018/19, pledging to raise £30,000.
Breast Cancer Haven supports those who are affected or have been affected by cancer and the work they do has a huge impact on the people within the local community. Every £1,000 raised means that someone will receive 10 hours of free treatment, from scar tissue massages to manicures which can make a huge difference to someone who is living with or has lived with this disease.
Over the last year Carnival UK has organised and supported many events from Tough Mudder, to the Tea Cosy Event, the first ever CUK charity winter ball and of course the epic Snowdon Challenge. Without the support and efforts of everyone here at CUK this would not have been possible. Your efforts and donations have meant that CUK has been able to raise an outstanding £53,150 throughout the year and these funds will make a huge difference to people’s life’s.
